GLOBAL COOPERATION IN MEDICINE

Solutions should not be politicized or held hostage to cultural beliefs.

by Miguel Stanley

Individually countries will not succeed. We need a truly global effort and needed to begin pooling medical expertise and personnel across borders. No point in hoarding medical equipment or trying to win deals for profit for this. We can only defeat this virus in our countries if we defeat it everywhere else. That’s why we need to create systems of medical and scientific solidarity across the globe. Whatever solution we come up with, has to be financially democratic, it has to be accessible.

Solutions should not be politicized or held hostage to cultural beliefs. That’s the beauty of scientific evidence, once we know the facts, fear can be managed and real solutions implemented. All big pharma and medical organizations  should come together under one roof and find a solution that does not benefit one single group financially, but the entire human race.

We need to begin pooling medical expertise and personnel across borders
